Movement & Expression – A Journey Within

Movement and expressions are the heart of Bharatanatyam — where the body becomes the canvas and emotions become the color.

  1. Movement is how we use our body — through posture, rhythm, gestures, and flow — to build awareness, strength, and presence. Even a simple hand gesture or a still stance holds meaning and grace.
  2. Expression, or Abhinaya, is the art of storytelling through the face, eyes, and emotions. It helps us communicate feelings like joy, sorrow, love, or playfulness — all without speaking a word.

Together, they create a powerful experience where movement becomes mindful and every expression has a purpose.
This workshop is for everyone, even if you’ve never danced before. It’s a space to explore your body, your emotions, and the joy of connecting with yourself through movement.
